Count Us, Know Us, Join Us

The Advanced Breast Cancer community is one that stretches far and wide. And we understand that people with advanced or metastatic stages of breast cancer have different physical and emotional needs than people with earlier stages of breast cancer. The Count Us, Know Us, Join Us mission is to recognize and support those who are living with advanced or metastatic breast cancer, as well as their caregivers, supporters, friends, and family members.

Advanced or Metastatic Breast Cancer – A Global Experience

Although many of their experiences are similar, people living with advanced or metastatic breast cancer around the world also have their own unique challenges.

The Count Us, Know Us, Join Us survey confirmed that women living with advanced breast cancer feel isolated from the “pink” breast cancer movement that tends to focus on prevention and survivorship and want to be better understood, regardless of where they live. And, the Here & Now survey conducted in Europe confirmed that 8 in 10 women feel that quality of life is the biggest area in need of improvement for women living with advanced breast cancer.
